How to boost your sales with webcast training

I have been selling online now for around 10 years and I find that I am still learning new and often exciting methods to encourage me to push my learning curve further.

How to boost your sales with webcast training

With my experience, on the one hand, I guess I could be called an expert in my field, but I still feel I am a novice when it comes to the more technical side of selling online.

My eyes glaze over should anyone start discussing any technical abbreviated methods for operating online.

I guess the more automated software becomes, the easier it is to earn money.

Of course, in many ways, I do benefit from software upgrades and better programming from the online sites I use to display my wares.

Mobile phones seem to be pushing us all forwards, uphill to ‘progress’, with marketing and viral this and that, not to mention social networking sites such as Facebook.

So because my head is dizzy with the thought of trying to take in so much new information, to ensure I am well enough informed to make the correct decisions and to operate on all cylinders without getting left behind when it comes putting in place new ways of making money online, I have resolved myself to start taking more interest in training and tools offered freely through various webcasts.

Both Amazon and eBay are keen for you to join free online webcasts: it’s in their interest to carry you along with new technology and new methods of working.

They want to optimise your selling prowess – after all, they are direct benefactors of your online success, thus are a key stakeholder in your success.

So with this in mind, I have signed up to two webcasts on eBay this week, entitled:

  • New Seller Standards
  • How to Sell on eBay Using Magneto

Before you ask, I have no idea what Megento is either!!

I will update you next week if I glean anything worthwhile to share – you can of course sign up yourself to webcasts: just do a quick Google and see what’s on offer.

Likewise if you sell using Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), Amazon are often organising webcasts for you to get updated and familiarise yourself in new policies and processes.

Happy learning!!

Books for sale

As you know, I am very happy to display notices in this ezine for those wanting to sell unrequired books to those who would like low-cost stock delivered to their door at a time and day to suit.

I was contacted this week in regards to used books for sale: over 1,000 mixed books, all in good to very good condition. They’re comprised of mixed fiction and non-fiction, mostly non-fiction.

Titles are carefully selected and the lot does not contain ‘old rubbishy books’ (sic).

The offer is £280, which includes delivery if you live within 300 miles (round-trip) of South Wales.

The books have been kept clean and dry in a non-smoking environment, adding up to around 20 banana boxes and have been carefully packed to store.

The seller, Michael, needs the space.

If this offer is of interest to you please contact Michael direct on [email protected].
