How the Amazon forums can aid your business…

By Sharon Fussell, September 17, 2015

Last week we discussed how to access help and assistance from Amazon… We saw that despite working at home on your own, you can take heart when you sell using the Amazon site, as – because of the excellent seller help available from Amazon – truly you are not alone.

Yet another great way to find help is by using Amazon’s selling forum.

If you are not sure how to access the forum, go to your seller account and look to the bottom-left-hand side of the page.

You will see a link to the ‘seller forum’. Click on the link and read the many threads that have been posted by various Amazon sellers looking for assistance.

The current thread asks: ‘Why am I not in any Buy It Now boxes?’

There are various replies, usually from very experienced Amazon sellers. Whatever your concern or problem may be, there’s probably someone else who has shared that concern or pondered on a similar problem, so an answer is (more likely than not) always ready to be discovered.

In the above case, for example, the questioner has been advised to check their feedback: Amazon are quite strict about who gets to be in the ‘buy box’ situated on the description page (being here can obviously lead to an increase in sales).

If you have a question you would like to post on the forum, register using your ID or first name.

Use the search facility link on the right-hand side of the page: your question might have already been discussed on an earlier occasion.

In fact it’s worth going to the forum, even if you haven’t currently got any issues: it can often be amusing, with lots of banter and you may in fact learn something you were unaware of.

Until next week!
